and fishermen. Upon return to Colorado Springs, he worked as an arborist for 26 years at Bob Rundo Tree Surgeon rising to President and sharing ownership duties with his wife. He joined Timberline in 2024 with an excitement to work with the arboriculture team.

Joel Binford

Joel Binford has been in the tree care industry since 2012 and received his ISA Certified Arborist designation in 2023. He is Crane Certified by American Training Solutions and has completed 100’s of crane removals since 2015. He has an associate’s degree in construction trades management from Hutchinson Community College.
Tyler Stewart
Production Supervisor - Plant Health Care
Favorite Tree: Palo Verde because of it’s adaptation to its arid environment. They only produce leaves during the rainy season and photosynthesize through their bark the rest of the year.
Tyler was born and raised in southern Indiana, where he quickly developed a love for nature and the outdoors. Tyler obtained a B.S. degree in Entomology from Purdue University in 2013 before continuing to complete M.S. coursework in Forestry three years later. He has experience with forest pests, insect-vectored diseases, and chemical ecology. While working in Purdue’s Forest entomology lab, he worked intimately with Emerald Ash Borer, Thousand Cankers Disease, and several other serious insect pests affecting today’s landscape.
Tyler has over 6 years of arboriculture experience working with property owners in the Colorado Springs area. He is an ISA Certified Arborist, as well as a Colorado Department of Agriculture licensed Qualified Supervisor for pesticide applications in forests and ornamental landscapes.
In his free time, Tyler enjoys spending time in the mountains camping, and hiking with his family. He also enjoys wildlife photography and traveling, which has led him to a number of countries in Central America and the Caribbean. He believes you can learn a lot about a place by their food, so he never turns down the opportunity
to try new foods or drinks wherever he goes.
Tim Emick
Owner/Chairman
Favorite Tree: Northern Red Oak because of the fall color and shade they provide for generations to come.

Craig holds an active Colorado CPA certificate, an MBA and Master of Real Estate Development (MRED).
